| What is a security deposit? We use a credit card to run an "authorization only" equal to the amount of your rental fees. This is a hold on credit that lasts up to 7 business days on a credit card, or up to 10 days on a debit visa or mastercard. Do you have to have a credit card? Not necessarily. You can leave a cash deposit equal to the replacement price of the items you are renting minus the rental fee. For example: If the item rents for $10, and the replacement price is $30, you would need to leave a $20 cash deposit. The deposit is returned when you return the items with exception to any late fees or damages incurred. How long do I get the costumes? The rental period is one day. You can pick up the day before your event, and return the day after. If you rent on Friday or Saturday you are due back on Monday (we are closed on Sundays with exception of October). One week is 'time and a half' Two weeks is a 'double rental' We can consult with you on pricing if the time is longer than 2 weeks. How much are late fees? If the rental items are not returned on time, we asess a $10 late fee per day. If the items are out over a second weekend, you will be charged another rental fee. This continues until the amount paid in rental fees and late fees reach the total amount of the replacement price. If you find you aren't going to be back on time, please call and let us know. Do I clean the costume? No, just bring it back to us and we take care of the laundry. If there is excessive soiling or odors that require multiple washings, you may incur a cleaning fee of $10.00. | |
